Real Estate Inspections

There are many Texas Real Estate Inspectors for home owners to choose from. Of the three achievable levels of State of Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) inspection licenses, the inspectors at Southern Comfort Services hold the highest level of Professional Real Estate Inspector.

The purchasing of a new home is time consuming and can be extremely stressful. Home inspections performed by Southern Comfort Services are an in-depth, unbiased examination of your potential new home. We will evaluate the physical condition of the structure, construction, and mechanical systems, as well as identify items that need to be repaired or replaced. Know that when your home is being inspected by Southern Comfort Services you are receiving a verbal and written property inspection report that is thorough, detailed, informative, and an accurate representation of the current condition of the property being inspected. Inspectors at Southern Comfort Services have more than 20 years experience individually in real estate inspections as well as hold a state license in a closely related craft  associated with the design, construction, and maintenance of residential and commercial property.

Our inspectors provide a higher level of inspection than required by the Standards of Practice as established by TREC. Inspectors may inspect parts, components, and systems in addition to those described by the standards of practice.

The TREC Standards of Practice are the minimum levels of inspection practice required of inspectors for the accessible parts, components, and systems typically found in improvements to real property, excluding detached structures, decks, docks and fences.

To view the current Standards of Practice, visit the TREC WEBSITE.
